Walker Sanderson Funeral Home and Crematory has remained your hometown, family owned, full service Funeral Home for over 50 years. Stewart L. Walker

Stewart L. Walker

Mr. Stewart Walker is the President of Walker Sanderson and has been with the company for 45 years. He was born and raised in Spanish Fork and is proud to carry on for his dad. Stewart graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Accounting & Economics and later graduated from the California College of Mortuary Science.

Mr. Walker affiliates with both The Utah and The National Funeral Directors Associations, has been active in the JC Organization, is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and has sat on the Provo City Airport Board. A trained professional private pilot, Mr. Walker has been flying for 35 years. He's no stranger to velocity and enjoys any vehicle with an engine that can that can keep up with him; specifically, boats, cars, and planes. Being an avid golfer, Mr. Walker regularly takes to the course but especially loves to play for a good cause.

As a long-time local business owner, Mr. Walker has the opportunity to associate with other funeral professionals and enjoys working with people who share his same concerns for the families they serve. His extensive experience at Walker Sanderson has seen constant growth not only in the quality of services they provide but also in the strength of their reputation. Leading a business that bears his name, Mr. Walker takes his work personally and finds great satisfaction when helping families during their especially difficult time. His individual goals for every service are to provide a comfortable atmosphere, peaceful surroundings, and extraordinary attention to every detail.

Jason Walker

Jason Walker

Jason is the Secretary/Treasurer at Walker Sanderson. He manages the Tribute Center in Provo and oversees all Pre-planning for the company. Jason studied business management at Utah Valley University and has been at Walker Sanderson for 20 years. He loves Utah for the extreme seasons and diverse terrain that allow him to boat, mountain bike, and ski. Jason is also a licensed pilot and frequently takes to the skies. He also plays league softball and is a volunteer coach for his daughter's team.

As a community member, Jason is an avid supporter of local musical artists and sports teams. At Walker Sanderson, he enjoys being of support to the families of those who have passed away. In the span of his career, Jason has seen funeral services evolve from traditional proceedings to personalized memorials in every detail. He enjoys being part of the planning process and helping people make the funeral services an event that celebrates life.



Wade Walker

Wade Walker

Wade is General Manager at Walker Sanderson and has been with the company for 18 years. He began his career as a custodian but worked and studied his way to a management position. Wade was born in Provo, Utah and has been living his whole life in Utah Valley. He has an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from Cypress College and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. Wade enjoys traveling with his wife, coaching baseball, skiing, camping, and wake surfing.

In the community, Wade has the opportunity to coach a super league baseball team where he enjoys the challenge and reward of working with young athletes. At Walker Sanderson, Wade has the opportunity to help people navigate through a difficult time in their life. He enjoys being of support by providing a valuable and quality experience that offers comfort to grieving families. Wade's goal is to make each funeral experience exactly what the family envisions for their loved one. By working closely together, Wade hopes that a personal and professional funeral service will create a genuine friendship with families who are dealing with loss. Wade looks forward to contributing to the reputation that families can count on Walker Sanderson.

Tom Sanderson

Thomas E. 'Tom' Sanderson

Mr. Sanderson has been the Funeral Director at Walker Sanderson for 20 years. He has spent his whole life in Utah Valley being born in Provo and growing up in Pleasant Grove. His education took place at Utah State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and at the California College of Mortuary Science where he earned a degree in Mortuary Science. Mr. Sanderson enjoys woodworking, oil painting, landscaping, and gardening. He has been involved in Scouting and Rotary, is active in his church, and spent more than twenty years as volunteer ski patrolman.

At Walker Sanderson, Tom has the opportunity to step into a family situation and help facilitate the processes that will be an important part of healing their grief. Tom hopes that those who attend his services find comfort during a time of loss and that the family experiences ease through the details of a funeral. Mr. Sanderson knows that people are reliant on him during a difficult time and he takes pride in being able to provide services that are absent of worry. Tom has been instrumental in helping to build the strong reputation of Walker Sanderson and has helped create awareness in the community for the quality of services offered.

Linda Coleman

Linda Coleman

Linda has been an Administrative Assistant with Walker Sanderson for 9 years. She was born in Long Beach, California and then moved to Huntington Beach where she grew up knowing she would somehow serve the public one day. Linda studied at Ricks College in Idaho and then back home at Golden West College. Her favorite times of year are in the summer when she can camp, hike, swim, garden, travel, and attend family events. Linda likes to capture these moments on film and then practice with her photoshop skills.

As an active member in her church and community, Linda has the opportunity to coordinate temporary housing for people who are visiting Utah. At Walker Sanderson, she has the opportunity to help lighten the load of people who are weighted down by bereavement. In her career, she has seen Walker Sanderson make it a priority to continually provide better service to families with immediate needs. In her job, Linda helps with the details of arrangement so that those suffering from loss can, in any way possible, have a good experience.

Tiffany Tenney

Tiffany Tenney

Tiffany is an Administrative Assistant at Walker Sanderson and has been with the company going on five years. She was born and raised in Newton, a Northern Utah town of less than a thousand people. She graduated high school in neighboring Smithfield and went on to study at Utah Valley University. She is a licensed Notary with the State of Utah. Tiffany loves playing sports, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys reading, crafting, and preserving memories through scrapbooking.

Tiffany's love of athletics has given her the opportunity to be a volunteer coach for teams in city leagues and her church. At Walker Sanderson, Tiffany has the opportunity to assist those who are at a difficult time in their life and looks for way to make the experience easier for them. With every service, Tiffany hopes to provide caring and personalized service. Working for Walker Sanderson, she is happy to be involved with a company who is accessible to everyone by providing options that will meet any particular need.

Tara Joyner

Tara Joyner

Tara is the Marketing Director and Community Liaison at Walker Sanderson. She was born in Provo, Utah but grew up with the red rocks of Moab, Utah as her backyard. Tara has always loved people and strives to be genuine to everyone she meets. She has owned and operated several businesses since she was 18, all of which have been service oriented. Tara owned and operated a successful nail shop for 15 years, then sold real estate for Prudential Realty Group. Most recently, she owned and operated a local boutique until joining the Walker Sanderson team.

Tara loves to be outdoors with her family, especially enjoying jeeping, biking, camping, and boating - preferably in Moab. As an active member in her church, Tara has had the opportunity to help its local youth group. Tara loves working with the families and members of the community. She is creating awareness of the importance of celebrating one’s life in a loving and memorable way at Walker Sanderson.


Roy Pearson

Roy Pearson

Roy is an Assistant Funeral Director and Pre-Need Family Planner. He was born in Logan, Utah, and was raised in Idaho and North Dakota. He has lived in six other western states. Roy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He is also a big BYU fan.

He enjoys playing racquetball, hiking, home projects, and spending time with his family and large extended family. Roy is an active member of his church. He also has a twin brother who helps with funeral viewings. Roy has been with Walker Sanderson for two years and thoroughly loves his job. He has a vested interest in providing a memorable experience for families and helping honor the lives of loved ones.
