Nora Patricia Reid was born on March 17, 1924 in Provo, Utah to Nora Pratt and Wallace Reid. They moved to Los Angeles, California in 1931 and later settled in Culver City, California. She attended three colleges, LACC, BYU and UCLA majoring in music before her marriage to Lorenzo Lee Pett. They were married in the Salt lake City Temple on August 23, 1945. She did many singing performances as soloist and duets with her husband and with the entire family. She was a piano teacher for 30 years. She was also a composer, play-writer and poet. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Lee Pett, daughters, Carol and Sally. She is survived by five children, Ronald Pett, Alis (Gary) House, Gloria (Roger) Stewart, April (Edward) Winkleman and John (Sarah) Pett. She had 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to your ward mission fund in honor of Patricia.
