Our loving Mom, Akata Penesio Rigamoto, was received back into our Heavenly Father's arms on June 9, 2021, here in the state of Utah in the United States of America. As a great friend to many people, she loved to serve and help the best she could. She was born in the Rotuma islands and immediately immersed herself in the culture and love of her island people. She worked as a Nurse and spent most of her years at the Valelevu Health Center in Nasinu in the Fiji Islands. Her passion was to help those that needed help and show kindness to people from different walks of life that needed comfort. She grew up in the Methodist Church and later converted into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served diligently until she left us peacefully on this Earth. She is the eldest of 11 immediate siblings. She is preceded in death by 4 half-brothers and a sister and 2 of her immediate siblings. She is survived by her husband Semantafa (Tom) and her 3 children, Koni, Reijeli and Sam. She has 18 wonderful grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and family that loves and misses her from Rotuma, Fiji, the United States, and abroad. Words cannot describe how much we miss and love her. Until that glorious morning Mom, when we shall meet again, we love you. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 18, 2021, 11:00 am in the Sunrise Meadows 3rd Ward, 947 North Jack Rabbit Road, Saratoga Springs, UT. Family and friends may visit that morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the church. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery, Orem, UT.
