IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Allyson Rae
Jensen
April 22, 1972 – April 14, 2022
Allyson Rae Jensen, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14th, 2022, after valiantly fighting through years of multiple illnesses and health conditions.
Allyson was born to Robert William Glines and Bonnie Rae Roundy on April 22nd, 1972, in Anaheim, California. She graduated from Los Alamitos High School before proceeding to attend Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. It was during her tenure at BYU that she met Neil Jensen, her husband of twenty-seven years. They were married and sealed in the San Diego, California Temple on August 26,1995, and they settled in Provo to raise their four children.
Allyson was incredibly enthusiastic, kind, and selfless. She had an infectious sense of humor, wonderful laugh, always took someone up on a dare, and was crazy about all things Star Wars. She loved eating at Magleby's, coaching softball youth sports teams, and spending time with her loved ones. She made a point of paying every compliment that came to mind, believing in others, and saying "I love you" in each conversation with her family. She inspired all those around her to become better, happier, and more confident in themselves. Even during her difficult trials with migraines, she was a diligent and joyful wife and mother. Anyone who knew her just couldn't help but love her right back.
She was also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, relying greatly on her faith in her Father in Heaven. Allyson cherished the gospel dearly and left her heart in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after serving a mission there in 1993-95. Above all else, she was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Allyson is survived by her husband, Neil Christian Jensen; her four children, Alyssa Rae, Chandler Neil, Emma Jolie, and Rachel Alysse; her father, Robert William (Gail) Glines of Eugene OR; her older brother, Robert William (Shirley) Glines Jr, and their daughter Vanessa, of Los Alamitos, CA. She is preceded in death just one short year ago by her dear mother, Bonnie Rae Glines.
Thank you, Allyson, for all of the joy and love you brought into our lives. Your absence hurts, but we also know you're at peace now. We love you, and will spend the rest of our lives honoring, remembering, and cherishing yours.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 29th at 10:00 am at the Parkway 3rd Ward building, 3111 W, 1390 N in Provo, followed directly by funeral services at 11:15 am. Allyson will then be interred at Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah. Her family would like to thank everyone who has shown such unbelievable and thoughtful support during these trying times.
