Nuestro amado Alvaro Gastón Cook Hugo, ( 48 años de edad ) partió de este mundo el miércoles 3 de Agosto de 2022. Al momento de su partida toda su Familia estuvo con Él, y entre música sagrada, un coro de Ángeles acompañados de un violín, Alvaro dejó su cuerpo silenciosa y pacíficamente. Estamos seguros que su Papá Eduardo, Abuelita Rosa y todos aquellos que lo antecedieron, lo recibieron con los brazos abiertos.

Alvaro nació de buenos padres, Eduardo Cook y Epifania Cook, un 4 de Noviembre de 1973, en Lima Perú. Fue el último hijo de la pareja, y como dice su Mami, el que llegó a completar la Felicidad de la Familia Cook. Desde muy pequeño mostró una gran afinidad por la música, y entre Un millón de amigos, Lobo hombre en Paris, Un beso y una Flor, y muchas canciones más, Alvaro fue aprendiendo a cantar solo por medio del oído, canciones que no olvidaría jamás. Alvaro tuvo una memoria privilegiada, se acordaba de anécdotas, nombres de personas de antaño, y lo que bien aprendía, nunca olvidaría.

Al parecer quiso ser Agente de Inmigración, por lo cual preguntaba el nombre y de dónde era a cualquiera que conociera, acto seguido les pedía su pasaporte o Green card. Con su espíritu jovial y amoroso no podía pasar desapercibido a donde fuera, sus ocurrencias, buen humor y voz potente, siempre se hicieron notar. Alvaro tuvo 3 maestras de música en su vida, a las cuales quiso profundamente, Gabrielita, Hannah y Leilani, ellas también lo amaron y lo cuidaron mucho. Gabrielita dijo que ella siente que Alvarito se despidió de ella días antes de partir, de igual manera Hannah y Lelani sintieron su Amor y presencia.

Alvaro llegó a este mundo como un Angel para su Familia, les enseñó el Amor Incondicional, La Paciencia, Perseverancia, Dedicación, y su última lección, Aceptar los designios de Dios.

Hoy su cuerpo ya descansa en paz de cualquier aflicción o dolor, pero su Espíritu, Alma y Esencia vivirán por siempre en el corazón de toda su Familia y de todo aquel que lo conoció. Ahora tienen un Ángel que velará por ellos desde el Cielo.

Lo sobreviven su amada Madre, Epifania Cook, hermanos, Arturo, Dinorah, Patricia, Cecilia, Katia, Pilar, Eduardo y Moisés y muchos sobrinos.

Our beloved Alvaro Gaston Cook Hugo, (48 years old) departed this world on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Alvaro's spirit quietly and peacefully left his body in the presence of his entire family with sacred violin music in the background and what we perceived as choirs of angels. We are confident that he was received with open arms by his Father Eduardo, his grandmother Rosa and all those who preceded him in death.

Alvaro was born to Eduardo and Epifania Cook, on November 4, 1973, in Lima Peru. He was the youngest child of his many siblings. His mother would say – he was the one who came to complete the Cook Family happiness. From a very young age he showed a great affinity for music, and between A Million Friends, Wolf Man in Paris, A Kiss and a Flower, and many more songs, Alvaro learned to sing only by ear, songs he would never forget. Alvaro had a powerful memory, remembering anecdotes, names of people from long ago. What he learned well, he never forgot.

He wanted to be an Immigration Agent when he grew up, which explained why he asked everyone he met for their passport or Green card. With his jovial, loving spirit, and powerful voice he never went unnoticed. Alvaro had three music teachers during the course of his life, whom he loved deeply, Gabrielita, Hannah and Leilani. He felt their love and care in return. Gabrielita said that she felt that Alvarito said goodbye to her days before leaving, just as Hannah and Lelani felt his love and presence.

Alvaro came into this world as an Angel assigned to his Family. He taught them unconditional love, patience, perseverance, dedication, and his last lesson, accepting God's designs.

Today his body rests in peace from all affliction and pain, but his Spirit, soul and essence will live forever in the heart of his entire family and everyone who knew him. Each of them now knows that they have an angel in heaven watching over them.

He is survived by his beloved Mother, Epifania Cook, brothers, Arturo, Patricia, Cecilia, Katia, Pilar, Eduardo and Moises and many nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Eduardo and sister Dinorah.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, 12:00 pm in the Windsor 8th Ward, 1505 North Timberwolf Trail, Orem. Family and friends may visit that morning from 10:00 - 11:30 am at the church.
