Angela Lerida Alvarez Rea (68), loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away September 30, 2022. She was surrounded by her husband and family. She was born July 31. 1954 in Valencia Venezuela, the 5th born in her family. She was always someone who showed a love for learning by standing out in her studies and completed a degree in education after graduating from high school. As an entrepreneur, she started multiple businesses along with her husband, Eduardo (Julio), which grew and helped many youth to form a bright future. Her family immigrated to Utah, USA in 1996 where she and her family felt blessed living in a safe environment. She continued her love for learning, by continual study earning CNA, PCT, and Child Care Provider titles respectively.

Angela became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with her husband, and had many opportunities to serve within the church. She always saw opportunities to share the gospel and defend her beliefs. She had the blessing to be sealed for time and all eternity with her family in the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple in November of 1997, the same date as her & Eduardo's civil wedding anniversary.

Angela loved to dance and sing to music especially the Beatles and Juan Gabriel. Her passion for music and love of learning were as strong as ever until the very end. She began taking piano lessons three months ago until she entered the hospital. She spent her free time on a variety of subjects and media. Besides rereading her favorite series, Harry Potter, she consumed other novels, soap operas from around the world, and learning new recipes.

Angela is survived by her husband Eduardo (Julio) Rea, their three children; Heidi (Ryan) Baehler, Geiber (Cecilia) Rea, and Hayden Rea; and five grandchildren; Heather Rea, Aida Baehler, Amelie Rea, Alec Baehler, and Edward Rea. Angela was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Alice Rea (2009).

Family and friends may call Thursday evening October 6, 2022 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North Orem, UT. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS chapel located at 85 East 700 North Orem, Utah. Interment Orem City Cemetery.
