Anika Jacobs, 51, died Sunday, July 16th, 2017 after her courageous battle with cancer for the last four and a half years, surrounded by family and friends. She was born Oct 1, 1965 in Neenah, WI, the 6th child of Carl and Carolyn Towley. As the daughter of a military chaplain, she moved frequently during her childhood and lived in Maryland, California, New York, and Munich, Germany before moving to the Orem/Provo area. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl K. Towley; her father-in-law Brent "Jake" Jacobs; mother-in-law E. Irene Nelson. She is survived by the following family: Her loving husband and best friend, Justin. Son Cody and daughter-in-law Teagan Alex, and the light of her life, grandson Beckett Towley Nations Alex of Provo. Son Justin of Provo. Stepsons Cole (Ember), Rusty (Whitney), and Dallon, all of the Utah County area, and grandchildren Kolston, Emmie and Peyton. Adam and Elisha Trask and their children. Mother Carolyn Towley (MN).Three sisters, Paula (MN), Krissie (MN), Linnea (CA); two brothers Carl (MN & FL) and Louis (CA) and several nieces and nephews. Ex-husband, Steven Alex. Special friends Rosie and Kristi who provided amazing support to Anika and Justin during the last several weeks. Anika will be remembered by all who knew her as an unfailingly gracious and generous person, always putting her family first, and grateful for all of the beautiful things life had to offer. Her beautiful spirit is now at peace. A gathering to celebrate Anika's life will be held on Wed July 19th at 6 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home at 85 E 300 S, Provo UT.
