Ann Stratton Perry, beloved wife of Allen J. Perry of Orem Utah peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, September 26, 2025 with her loving spouse by her side. She was 79 years old.

Ann was born in Provo, Utah on April 7, 1946 to John D. (Jack) Stratton and Ruby Stratton of Orem Utah along with her 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Ann attended Brigham Young University where she met and later married her eternal companion Allen on May 24, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple. The union was joyous and they have been inseparable for 58 years. They were blessed with two wonderful and rambunctious sons, John and David who were the light of her life.

One of the things that brought Ann the most joy in this life was spending time with her immediate and extended family, especially around the holidays. Ann loved to cook and bake. In her vocabulary there was "no such thing as too much pie". Anyone who stopped by around Christmas or Thanksgiving would find themselves leaving with an entire pie to themselves. Apple, Banana Cream, pumpkin, chocolate, lemon meringue, sweet potato, she made them all and gave them away to make room to start on the cookies she would bake and share. Through her healthy years she was in constant motion, making sure everyone felt loved through her food and kind acts of service. She loved to nurture others in a way only she could.

Ann was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, although in later years her health kept her from serving and attending. She never enjoyed making public appearances or being in the limelight; she always felt most comfortable spending time with her nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren. Whether it was playing games with them, reading to them, or consoling them, this was her expertise and what made her happy in life.

Ann was known for her kindness, work ethic, and sweet nature with just enough spunk thrown in. She was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She forgave people easily, and never had anything bad to say about anyone.

She spent her life serving others around her until she couldn't any longer. Ann was blessed to have her sweetheart Allen take over loving and meeting any and all needs that she could possibly have until her final day.

Ann is survived by her husband Allen Perry, son David (Natalie) Perry, grandsons Isaac, Jack, and Jonah. Granddaughters Ally (Mason) Perry-Maag and Gentry Perry. Sisters Karen (Gary) Abbott, Nancy (Jim) McNeil, Cindy (Glenn) Jensen. Brother Chad (Diane) Stratton, and many other nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents John D. (Jack) Stratton and Ruby Stratton. Her son John T. Perry. And her brother Michael Stratton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church on 810 E. 600 N. in Orem preceded by a viewing at 9:00 a.m. at the same location. There will also be a viewing on Thursday evening October 2, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at the same location.
