Obituary

Annetta Rae Mower 91, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023 in Lehi, Utah. She was born August 1, 1932 to Ray Charles Peterson and Pearl Annetta Poulsen in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Annetta married her sweetheart Robert Eugene Mower on November 9, 1948 and they were later sealed in the Manti, Utah temple. Together they raised one son and four daughters. Annetta loved all of the pretty things in life especially flowers. She had flowers throughout her yard and in every nook and cranny that could be found. She would spend hours grooming the soil and nurturing the new flowers every year until her yard looked as if it were a featured home in "Better Homes and Gardens". Many evenings she could be found in her favorite chair coloring her favorite pictures with her colored pencils. Annetta also had a passion for golf. She was a member of the Timpanogos Women's Golf Association. Annetta and Bob worked side by side for many years in the family auto parts business. They also loved to travel and camp with their wonderful group of friends and family. There were many years of family reunions spent in Fairview canyon, gathered around the campfire at night listening to stories from the lives of Annetta and Bob. They both loved the outdoors and truly appreciated the beauty of nature. After retirement, they had the opportunity to travel south with many of their friends for several years enjoying the winter warmth of the southwest. They both shared a love of their family. There were many family gatherings throughout the years where stories and memories were shared with everyone.

Annetta was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life Bob and two sisters, Myrna and Peggy. She is survived by her son Ken Mower, Jan Forbis (George), Kaye Holmes, Nan Ervien (Dale) and Lynn Wilkey (Dave) and one sister (Jill) 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Ashford Assisted Living care center and Covington Assisted Living care centers. She was treated with the greatest care and compassion one could receive. We are so grateful for Rachel, her hospice nurse and Rachel her hospice aid. These two special ladies loved and truly cared for Annetta throughout the last several challenging months of Annetta's life.
