IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Armida Ines
Ferron
January 29, 1947 – March 7, 2025
Armida Ines Ferron
Our Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 in Provo Utah surrounded by many loved ones.
Armida was born on January 29, 1947 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. She had one sister and two brothers.
Armida married and was a devoted mother to five children Ernesto (Katrina), Drusso, Hernan, Armida, and Daniel (Cami) and a cherished grandmother to sixteen grand children, and seventeen great grand children. She loved spending time with her family but especially the grandkids. Armida's family was her number one priority and greatest joy. When she came to Utah with her five children she worked tirelessly to support them. She often walked to and from work, making time in between jobs to return home and cook a meal for her family. She was an incredible cook and it was a beautiful testament of love and the joy she brought to her family through cooking. She also had a raw witty sense of humor that could catch you off guard in the best way. Armida loved to travel and have new adventures. Flying on an airplane was one of her favorite things. She also had a love for animals.
Armida worked as a dietician at Scenic View Academy, where she formed lasting friendships with the students. She was so caring and supportive that one student even called her "mom." Armida had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. Over the years, she opened her home to several people who were not family members but soon became like family.
Armida was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith and testimony of Jesus Christ was a powerful force in her life, and is also an example to her family. Even though she isn't here with us on this earth her influence and testimony of the gospel will be felt for generations. We find comfort in knowing that we will see her again and be able to be with her for Eternity. She found great joy in working at the Provo Temple for many years. Armida also loved to sing and shared her beautiful voice with the Ward choir.
Her unwavering faith and her kind heart touched the lives of many, both within her family and her community.
We will all miss Armida's warmth, her humor, and her unwavering love.
