Obituary

Becky Lin Curtis passed away suddenly after a long courageous battle with cancer, on November 26, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 72. Born on March 1, 1952, in Salina, Utah, she was the beloved daughter of the late Reed Curtis and Maxine Taylor Curtis Church Adams. Becky's life was a testament to her unwavering faith. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She was raised primarily in Aurora, Utah, graduating from Delta High School. Becky embraced the value of education. Graduating from Weber State University with a degree in History and Paralegal studies/accounting, She embarked on a career that contributed significantly to the State of Utah and Weber State University. Her professional journey was marked by dedication, striving for excellence and integrity.

When not working Becky was an avid golfer, participating in tournaments and even golfing at night. As her health declined and she was unable to golf, Becky found joy in simple pleasures such as reading, painting, and drawing. Her artistic spirit reflected the beauty she saw in the world, often sharing this through her creations. She was also an avid puzzle enthusiast, and spent countless hours immersed in solving puzzles, showcasing her patience and attention to detail. Becky's wisdom, love, and laughter was cherished and contagious. Her role as a friend, Aunt, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother was embraced with joy and devotion even through her health struggles, leaving a legacy of love.

Becky embraced the values of faith and family. Her daughter Beki and her grandsons, Keefe and Kaden were the light of her life. Beki dedicated an incredible amount of time loving, helping and supporting Becky through many years of struggles with her health. We also acknowledge and are grateful for the many hands who helped Becky throughout the years. Your efforts were 'seen' and deeply appreciated as you helped make up the puzzle pieces of her life.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Beki, and son-in-law, Shaun; Her grandsons, Keefe and Kaden, who will forever hold her memory close. She also leaves behind her brothers, Terry Curtis(Celeste), Derrel Curtis (Loni), and Kevin Curtis (Laureen), and sisters, Debra Mickelson (John) and Kandi Jensen (Jared). Her extended family, including many Bonus brothers and sisters, remember her fondly and love her fiercely.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Reed Curtis and Maxine Taylor Curtis Church Adams, and her Bonus brother Kelly Adams. Her kindness and faith will continue to inspire all who know and love her.
