Beverly Dean Davies Groesbeck passed away September 30, 2019. She was born May 26, 1929 in Fillmore Utah to Ruben K and Anna Dean Chesley Davies. She attended Millard High School and met Paul Groesbeck there at her high school graduation dance. She attended Utah State University and Paul followed her there. They were married in the Manti LDS Temple on November 19, 1948. They started their life together in Salt Lake City where Paul worked for Utah Power and Light Company. They transferred to Ashton, Idaho where they lived until 1964 when they made their final move to Richfield. They have nine children including Mike (Karen) Groesbeck, Eugene (Marsha) Groesbeck, Mary (Paul) Holden, Nathan (Karen) Groesbeck, Glen (Paula) Groesbeck, Paulene (Tim) Clawson, Lisa (Sid) Lewis, Gaylene (Tom) Hooker, and Ben (Carol) Groesbeck. They have 34 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirlene, son Eugene Davies Groesbeck, great-granddaughter Jenivee June Clawson. She is survived by Chesley Reuben (Brother), Fredrick Arthur (Brother). Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family, working in the garden, doing temple work and helping others. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society President, temple worker, and missionary at Cove Fort. But her favorite calling was in the nursery. She was a longtime member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was known by her friends and acquaintances as a loving and caring woman, by her children as a shining example of a devoted spouse and angelic mother, by her grandchildren as purveyor of "dilly beans," popcorn, hugs and kisses, "lemon on the rocks," and by her husband as complete devotion to the end.
Her funeral services will be held October 4 th at 1 PM in the Richfield 10 th LDS Ward Chapel, 675 West 200 South. Viewings will be October 3 rd from 6 to 8 PM and October 4 th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
