On Saturday Evening, January 29, 2022, Bonnie L Cook ascended to heaven surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Bonnie moved on after battling illnesses at her advanced age. She was 80 years old at the time of her passing. She is survived by her 3 daughters and 11 grandchildren.
Bonnie was one of 7 kids born to her parents Naomi Selle and Gilbert Miller. She was born on August 1, 1941 in Wheaton, Illinois. She later moved to Utah and become a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married her loving husband, Francis Cook, on May 5, 1962 in Illinois. She was later sealed to her husband in the Provo Utah Temple. She will be reunited with her husband, loving parents and sisters (Ardith Sievers), (Sylvia Dyer) and her son (Scott Cook). She will always be remembered as a kind and loving person who always put others needs before her own.
She retired after working 3 decades at Utah Valley University where all of her coworkers and students adored her. She loved spending time with family more than anything else. You would never see her reading the same book as she could read for days on end. Bonnie also loved taking care of and holding her grandkids. Her children and grandchildren have many memories with her that they will cherish.
She is survived by her Siblings: Ron (Nancy) Miller, Kenny (Ildiko) Miller, Lewis (Theresa) Miller, Linda Ferguson. Her three daughters: Robin Elliott, Ashley cook, Amber Cook. Her grandchildren: Angie Callaway, Jentry Jasperson, Morgan (Rich) Nielson, Chandler Alvari, Derek Sutherby. Her great-grandchildren: Makenzie (JR Wright) Alvari, Braxton Lombardi, Cambria Callaway, Miles Nielson, Eloise Nielson. And one great-great grandbaby: Maisyn Wright. And many nieces and nephews who all love her dearly.
