Boyd Gayle Pett Resident of San Jose March 30, 1928 – July 28, 2018 Boyd Gayle Pett passed away Saturday morning after an eight year-long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Boyd earned a B.S.E.E. at Utah State and later a Master's Degree in E.E. He served in the US ARMY Signal Corps and taught Electronics courses at Brigham Young University before moving his growing family to California where he excelled as an Integrated Circuit Design Engineer. Boyd worked for many of Silicon Valley's start-up companies developing innovative circuit techniques. His marriage to Illene Stanfield in June of 1954 produced seven loving children. David S Pett, Brian G. Pett, Boyd G. Pett (deceased), Kathleen P. Heckel, Kristine P. Rudolph, Gregory W. Pett (deceased), and Stephen J. Pett. Since his marriage in May 2008 to Norma L. Stiawalt this extended family has continued to joyfully grow in number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Boyd's gentle, loving spirit will be missed by all who were blessed to know him. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 150 Bernal Rd. in San Jose on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Visitation at 9 AM.
