IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brad Lee
Peay
September 29, 1954 – September 8, 2023
Brad Lee Peay, a beloved son, sibling, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away at the age of 68 on September 8th, 2023, in his hometown of Orem, Utah. He was born on September 29th, 1954, to loving parents Blake Virl Peay and Lori Lee Peay, who have preceded him in death.
Brad was a true adventurer with a knack for hunting alongside his family and friends. Many goose and pheasant hunting escapades with his dad, cousins, and sons, epic clay pigeon competitions, off-roading adventures, and being knee-deep in farming and family traditions out on the -Z- Peay Ranch. He also had a blast fishing, hitting the greens for a round of golf, and everyone who knew him was well aware that Harley Davidson was his life. He couldn't get enough of that open road, cruising on his Street Glide alongside his wild "Skull Bros". He left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of sharing these experiences with him.
He had an entrepreneurial spirit and an unmatched work ethic. His journey in the furniture industry paved the way for his passion and from there, he went on to create his own successful businesses, like Rumble Tuff and RT Manufacturing. He was so dedicated to his work that everyone started calling him "Sawdust."
He will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings: Terri (Dr. Kent) Jex, Lance Peay, Shane (Laura) Peay, and DaNielle (Mark) Gowans. They were a source of strength and support for him.
Brad leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his children: Shilo (Jenny) Peay, Brandon (EmmaLee) Peay, Corrisa (Jay) Helquist and Deanna (Zack) Peay, as well as his adoring grandchildren: Presley, Kennedy, Quincy, Jersey, Bentley, Jaymz, Kalvyn, and Blake. His role as a father and grandfather was marked by unwavering love, guidance, and encouragement, shaping the lives of his children and grandchildren in profound ways.
As we mourn the loss of Brad, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived. His legacy of love, family, the great outdoors, and his passion for life will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew him. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
The Peay family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and well-wishers who have offered their support during this difficult time. Your love and memories will forever keep Brad's spirit alive in our hearts.
