Obituary

Brian Kilmer Roundy born August 29, 1948, passed away September 27, 2021. Brian was born in Provo, UT to Phyllis and Kilmer Roundy. Brian graduated from Provo High School in 1967. He started his career at Provo City as a meter reader. Brian joined the United States Navy where he served two tours to Vietnam as a Gunners mate and then a boat captain for IUWG Unit 4. Brian was very proud of his service. After returning home, he met and married Annette Ostler on May 19, 1972, they were blessed with three children: Clinton Brian, Cody Trent, and Melissa Ann Roundy. On October 2, 2007 Brian and Ann were sealed for time and eternity in the Timpanogos Temple. He returned to work for Provo City where he went on to become a Journeyman Lineman. At the time of his retirement, he was the Assistant Distribution Manager of Provo City Power; he retired after 35 years of service. After Ann's death in 2016 he married Grace Deming, they had 4 glorious years together, with lots of love, fishing and hunting. Brian is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He belonged to the Parkview 4th Ward. Brian was very active in all outdoor activities. His best memories with his family and brothers Clive T Roundy and Val Roundy were fishing and hunting. Brian is survived by his loving wife Grace, son Clinton (Christy) Roundy, daughter Melissa (AJ) Terry, and three stepchildren Mike (Janu) Johnson, Kara (Ryan) Johnson), Josie (Randy) Roberts, 17 grandchildren, and 4 ½ great grandchildren. Brian was such a humble and caring man, he was always willing to help anyone at any time putting everyone else first. He has made so many lasting impressions on many people. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Annette Ostler Roundy, son Cody T Roundy, parents Kilmer and Phyllis Roundy, and 1 grandchild Jacelynn Roundy. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 2, 2021, 11:00 am in the Parkway 4th Ward, 2876 West 1390 North, Provo. Family and friends may visit Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home of Provo, 85 East 300 South, Provo, or Saturday morning at the church from 10:00-10:45 am. Interment will be in Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, with military honors provided by American Legion Post 72.
