Bruce Alan Mildenberger

(1960 – 2023)

Bruce Alan Mildenberger of Lehi, Utah passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on June 28, 2023. Bruce was born to Robert and Mary Mildenberger in Long Island, New York on March 9, 1960. Bruce grew up in Brigham City and Clearfield. He graduated from Clearfield High School.

Bruce is survived by his wife Sherry Mildenberger, son Robert Mildenberger, stepdaughter Angela Solum (Lee), stepson Derrick Bradbury (Nancy), sister Cathy Mildenberger (Tim Christlieb), and father-in-law Ron Nelson.

Bruce's greatest joy was his four grandchildren Hagen, Madi, Will and Remi. PopPop/Grandpa was always well prepared for the kids to visit, spoiling them with toast, Cheerios, and buttered noodles. He loved taking the kids to the park, pulling them in the wagon, and was ready with a snack when it came time for movies. The family recently enjoyed a Disney cruise together, which was truly a last hoorah for Bruce.

Before grandkids, Bruce enjoyed camping at Flaming Gorge, boating at Willard Bay with good music and ending the day with a pizza at Circle Inn. Time spent with family in Lake Powell was also a favorite. He was a competitive pool player and was always up for a challenge. Bruce did things in his own way and his own time even in the end.

The family will have a private farewell at Flaming Gorge at a later date.
