Obituary

On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Camden David Hales, son of Holly Larsen Lee (Hales) and Geoff Hales was suddenly and tragically returned to his Heavenly home at the tender age of 16.

Camden was born on June 24, 2004, in Orem, Utah to Holly Larsen Lee (Hales) and Geoff Hales. He formerly attended Timpanogos High School and was preparing to enter Job Corps in Ogden Utah this fall, with aspirations of becoming a mechanic or an electrician.

Camden was the 4th and middle child of seven. He came into this world to parents who were eager to meet him and full of love for him. He had a head full of dark sandy blond hair with lighter blond highlights throughout. He looked like a baby surfer. He was beautiful. In his younger years Camden attended preschool with my dear friend Jill and then moved onto Northridge elementary for K-6 where he met many of his childhood friends. While at Northridge, Camden had many wonderful teachers who helped him learn and progress. Camden then moved onto Oak Canyon and Timpanogos High School and was currently preparing to enter Job Corps.

Camden is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and as a young boy attended cub scouts and his youth group there. Camden also played a bit of soccer throughout his childhood. He worked at Culvers in Orem for 7-8 months and enjoyed that working experience. Camden also enjoyed making "beats" (music) with his good friend on the computer. But to be remembered most about Camden was his kind, sweetheart. He loved his Mom and enjoyed many nights laying in bed getting his back scratched. Camden had close warm relationships with his siblings and created many beautiful memories growing up with them. He was loyal in his friendships and was loved by so many.

Camden loved spending time playing video games with his brothers and caring for animals, especially his 21-year-old cat Diamond, who was his favorite furry friend.

Camden is fondly remembered for his love of treats, including ice cream sandwiches, Baskin Robbins, Oreo McFlurries (with extra Oreos) and Dubble Bubble gum, but most especially for his enthusiasm for Little Caesar's pizza which he enjoyed with A&W root beer. Camden loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his siblings and cousins. A common activity was making funny videos and sketches with cell phones and using common household items as costumes, to brighten the lives of those around him and enjoy time with his cousins and siblings. He was especially effective at this due to his quirky, comedic personality. Camden's brothers and sister remember him for his amazing soul and are incredibly proud of him and love him so much.

Camden will be fondly remembered by his loving parents Holly Larsen Lee and Geoff Hales and his siblings Savannah, Preston, Rheannan, Larsen, Brennon, and Hannalei, as well as many loving Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.
