Carole Sue Larsen passed away peacefully on the morning of February 2nd 2022 in Orem Utah. She was born December 28th, 1938 in Fort Riley Kansas to Eugene and Fern Joffray. She was the youngest of three children born into that family. She grew up in Junction City Kansas as her father was in the military and stationed at Fort Riley. In her early adulthood she was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints along with her sister Jeanne Ann. She made the decision to move to Utah shortly after her conversion. She lived with roommates and worked as a secretary for a few different businesses. She began working as a secretary around 1960 at Morton Thiokol in Brigham City. It was while working there that she met her first husband, Cordell Nelson. They married on September 28, 1961 in the Logan temple, and had four daughters together. Kim, Natalie, Lisa, Lori. They settled in Orem Utah but were divorced in 1981, she was later married in 1991 to Kent Larsen. That marriage also ended in divorce in 1997.
Carole was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She devoted her life to her family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She served her family as well as many others in various callings throughout her life. She was particularly, a good ministering sister. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Gary Joffray. She is survived by all her daughters, Kim (Alan Dennis, CA), Natalie (Tim Crandall, UT), Lisa (Gary Twitchell, UT), Lori (Bill Jennings, UT) her sister Jeanne Ann, (Val Buxton, UT), 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Services will be at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North Orem, UT, greeting beginning at 10:15am-10:45am. Funeral beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be at Orem Cemetery.
