Cassandra Squires June 16, 1989 - August 30, 2017 Cassandra Squires was born on June 16, 1989 in Suffern, New York to Alan Squires and Bernadette Figliacconi. Cassandra lived in a small town called Maybrook, New York with her parents and older sister, Melissa, until the age of two. The family moved to Las Vegas where her sister, Rebecca was born in 1991. One year later they moved to Orem, Utah. Cassandra grew up in Orem where she learned to play the piano from her Aunt Denise. She loved being a cheerleader at Lake Ridge Jr High School, babysat the neighborhood children and practiced Tae Kwon Do with her sisters and her father. She received her yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do and broke a wooden board in half. She loved being with her dad. Cassandra's smile and laughter brought joy and happiness to everyone in her life. She loved spending time with her children. She did not judge others and if she witnessed someone in pain, she would be the first person to offer comfort. Cassandra is survived by her children: Sons, Mason Carter Squires, Isaiah Alan Ehlers; and Daughter, Kalina Marie Ehlers. She is also survived by her mother, Bernadette Figliacconi, Stepmother Malise Squires, her sisters Melissa Squires Franco (Tony Franco), Rebecca Ann Squires, Malea Stanger Angulo (Trevon Angulo), McKenna Stanger, Cheryl Trewartha, Kenzie Smith, Breann Squires, Squires, her brothers Jeff Trewartha and Christopher Stanger. Grandparents David and Lois Squires. Friends may visit Friday evening, September 8, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Walker Sanderson Mortuary, 646 East 800 North, Orem Utah. Friends may also visit Saturday morning at the Cherry Hill Chapel from 10:00 until 10:45 am at 135 East 2000 South, Orem Utah. Funeral services will begin at 11 am. Interment, Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem, Utah.
