Obituary

Chad Steven Chamberlain

January 17, 1975 – June 21, 2026

After a courageous battle with colon cancer, Chad passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Throughout his journey, he faced each challenge with faith, courage, gratitude, and humor, inspiring all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, compassion, laughter, and enduring love that will continue to bless the lives of those he cherished.

Chad Steven Chamberlain was born on January 17, 1975, in Provo, Utah, to Donald and Susan Chamberlain. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose life was marked by deep faith, unwavering love for his family, and a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him.

From a young age, Chad loved nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed raising chickens and pigeons as a boy, collecting baseball cards, and developing a lifelong fascination with rocks. Those early interests reflected his curiosity, enthusiasm, and appreciation for the simple joys of life.

As a young man, Chad faithfully served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Argentina Rosario Mission. The people he served and the testimony he developed there remained an important part of his life.

Chad graduated from Timpview High School, where he participated in basketball, football, student council, and track. He later earned an associate degree from Utah Valley University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Weber State University, and a Master's Degree in Accountancy with a Minor in Information Systems from Brigham Young University.

He went on to build a successful career in Corporate Finance, where he was known for his intelligence, integrity, leadership, strong work ethic, and sincerity.

On April 29, 2006, Chad was sealed to Jennifer Marie Chamberlain in the Houston Texas Temple. Together they built a home centered on faith, family, service, and love. Chad adored Jennifer, and the love they shared was the foundation of their family and the greatest blessing of his life. Their love story was one for the ages, marked by unwavering devotion, deep friendship, laughter, and faith in every season. Of all his accomplishments, Chad’s greatest joy was being a husband and father.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Marie Chamberlain; their seven children, Chloee Chamberlain, Tate Chamberlain, Alexa Chamberlain, Maizee Chamberlain, Ellee Chamberlain, Bryton Chamberlain, and Dayton Chamberlain; his parents, Donald and Susan Chamberlain; his siblings, Craig Chamberlain, Jon Chamberlain, Amy Andrus, and Sara Chamberlain; and many extended family members, dear friends, fellow church members, and loved ones whose lives were blessed by his influence.

Chad was known for his love of BYU and Texas A&M sports, family traditions, humor, a love of numbers, and creating memories with the people he loved. He especially loved wearing Hawaiian shirts and spending as much time as possible in Hawaii. He was known for his kindness, his ability to make people feel seen, and his genuine interest in others. He had a gift for making people smile and bringing laughter into everyday moments. His confidence, kindness, empathy, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Chad loved the Savior Jesus Christ and believed deeply in the doctrine of eternal families. His testimony shaped the way he lived, served, led, and loved. Even through life’s challenges, he remained steadfast in faith and devoted to those he cared about most.

His family remembers him not only for what he accomplished, but for who he was—a devoted husband, a loving father, a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, and a trusted friend.

The family expresses gratitude for the many prayers, acts of service, and expressions of love received during this time.

Family, friends, and all who loved Chad are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (678 South 950 West, Springville, Utah 84663). A private interment for family members will follow at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo, Utah.
