Charles passed away peacefully Thursday September 19,2024 in the Cove Point Care Facility in Provo,Utah at age 83.

Charles was born on December 21,1940 to his parents Emmett Oliver Headman and Rosetta Roak in their home in Provo, Utah. He graduated from Provo High School in 1958.

Charles married Betty Jean Chittock on June 18,1960 and had two children Shirley Ellen Headman and Shauna Lee Headman and later divorced. He then was remarried to Dianne Carol Lane on March 24,1967 and later sealed in the Provo Temple on January 5,1980. Charles and Dianne raised 5 children together the oldest Shirley Ellen, Shauna Lee, Daniel Edward, Laurel Ann and Kara Lee.

They lived in Provo, Utah until they moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah. Charles was a hard worker, he worked for Provo city parks department and later worked for the Street department he also worked for Davy Trees for awhile until he was able to get his own tree business going on the side. He retired from Provo City in 1998, and continued with his tree business until the fall of 2020.

His hobbies in life was gardening and fishing and scouting.

Charles is Survived by Sister Mary Kathleen Blue, Brother Robert Headman, Children Shirley Ellen Headman, Daniel Edward(LaurAnn) Headman, Laurel Headman, Kara Lee (Alan) Larsen, Grandchildren Tyler Jacob Headman, Kira Dianne Allred, Laura Lee(Skyler) Simpson, Daryl Joe Allred, Alicia Allred, Zachary Ryan Headman, Connor Scott Headman and Great Grandchildren Ryan Lee Simpson, Leo Eric Simpson, and Hazel Rose Simpson

Funeral Services will be Friday September 27, 2024 at 11 am in the Sharon Park 1st Ward 310 North 100 East, Orem. Friends may visit with family on Thursday September 26 from 6-8 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home 646 East 800 North, Orem or on Friday from 9:30-10:45 at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
