Cheryl Marie Appel, age 77, of Orem, passed away on November 12, 2024. Born on March 15, 1947, in California, to Frank N. Leavitt and Olive M. Wheeler Leavitt. Cheryl was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Cheryl's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her faith and family. She held numerous callings in the Church, most notably serving as the ward pianist and organist for many years. Her musical gifts touched many lives. Cheryl was a cherished member of her ward and was known for her kindness, dedication, and willingness to serve others in any way she could.

Cheryl was also a devoted wife to her late husband, Richard Appel, and a loving mother and grandmother.

Cheryl's legacy is one of faith, service, and love. She lived her life with grace and humility, exemplifying the teachings of Christ in everything she did. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cheryl is survived by her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many other family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard, and her parents.
