Christine Lynn (Larson) Dow

Christine Lynn (Larson) Dow, 75, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on March 8, 2026 in American Fork, Utah. Christine was born on October 27, 1950 in Sacramento, California to Monty and Betty (Oldham) Larson.

Growing up in Sacramento, she attended Howe Ave Elementary and Jr High Schools. She graduated from Encina High School where she played flute and piccolo in marching & Concert bands in 1968.

She attended American River College where she was crowned Homecoming Princess, and later attended Brigham Young University.

Christine was married in 1970 and was later divorced. Her marriage blessed her with three beautiful children, Elissa Anne (Dow) Crabtree, Christian James Dow and Alison Marie (Dow) Ramirez, the loves of her life.

As a single mother, she attended Utah Valley Technical College and was recommended to apply for and was accepted into a prestigious radiology program in Sacramento, Ca. She graduated with honors and worked full time as an X-Ray Technologist to provide for her young children.

She is survived by her children, Elissa Crabtree (Duane), Christian Dow (Sarah), and Alison Ramirez (Matthew), Grandchildren Kayla (Asa) Draney, Nathan (Jill) Tenney, Noelle Tenney (Alex Burnett), Lily Tenney, Corbin (Lexy) Crabtree, Kyle (Tessah) Crabtree, Tori Dow, Cora Dow, Brody Dow, Elizabeth Ramirez, Samantha Ramirez …and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Boone and Corly Crabtree, and Willow Crabtree.

She was the oldest of 6 siblings, Connie (Ron) Anderson, Nancy (Jim)Fogelberg, Ruth (Tom) Kocherhans, Karen (Rand) Folkman, and Monty (Pam) Larson.

She was preceded in death by her parents Monty and Betty Larson and her Grandson Toby Dow and his mother Season Dow.

A funeral will be held on Saturday March 14th at 11AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 56 S 1300 W, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062.
