Christopher Karl Bushman, age 38, passed away on December 12, 2021 after a valiant battle with COVID Pneumonia. He was surrounded in love by his children and family members.
Christopher was born on January 5, 1983 to Jerry Bushman and Janet Christiansen Bushman. Christopher lived with his family in Mapleton, Utah until the age of 13. He loved spending time outside and being active. The family moved to Ammon, Idaho in 1996 where Christopher continued to develop a love for outdoor adventures; skiing, dirt biking, motorcycling, rock climbing, and camping. They then moved to Pleasant Grove where he attended Pleasant Grove High School.
Chris married Constance Rogers on October 1, 2009, they later separated. They have two beautiful children Cambria Bushman and Kache Christopher Bushman. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his children Kaysha Seamons, Jayden Seamons, Jon Bushman, Araya Seamons, Zeriah Cox, brother Kevin Bushman, parents Jerry and Janet Bushman, grandmother, Betty Christiansen, and by his many, many friends.
Chris had many skills including construction, welding, and carpentry. His ambitious work ethic led him to his job as an excavator. He was a go-getter and never stopped living life to the fullest. One of Chris' biggest accomplishments was being a father. Chris loved being a dad, and his children were his pride and joy. During his spare time, Chris would often take his children boating or fishing. Some of his most cherished moments were teaching his kids to swim or to catch a fish.
Chris was energetic and welcomed everyone with a warm heart. He was a friend to anyone who needed a friend. Chris would instantly make connections with those around him with his affectionate personality. Many will remember his huge bear hugs and spirited laugh. Chris would drop everything to serve or help those in need. Many look up to Chris in the A.A. community. He was a safe harbor and provided strength to those who were struggling. Chris will forever be remembered by those he met with his empathetic and compassionate personality.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday, December 19th from 6-8 p.m. - Chris' funeral will be Monday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing before from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Both will be held at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E 800 N Orem, UT.
