In Loving Tribute
Our precious daughter, Cindy Lynn Jackman Tiede, returned home to her loving Father in Heaven on February 19, 2022 at Country Life Care Center in Riverton. Cindy was born on April 18, 1966, in Glendale, California to LeGrand & Judy Jackman.
Cindy graduated from Orem High School in 1984. She attended BYU and met her future husband, Greg Voisin, there. They married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 14, 1985. Cindy and Greg had five children. Kevin, Julie, Bradley, Kimberly and Randy. She loved them dearly and considered it an honor to be their mother.
Cindy had a beautiful smile and sparkly eyes and we will miss her dearly. Cindy loved music and began taking piano lessons when she was eight years old. She had a personal piano recital every
summer and won several gold cups for her superior ratings at the music educator's festival each year. One of Cindy's favorite things to do was play the piano as we all gathered around to sing along with her. When Cindy was 12 her piano teacher, who always told us, "Cindy sight reads like the wind," asked if she could mentor Cindy and have her begin to teach piano lessons. Cindy taught many students over the years. She accompanied the Orem High ACappella choir for three years. She accompanied show choir her junior year and performed with them her senior year.
In 2003 Cindy and Greg divorced. Several years later Cindy met Carl Tiede. They married on April 15, 2006. He has been a wonderful and devoted husband. They were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on October 27, 2007
Cindy loved going to the temple and serving others. For many years she sang at various Care Centers and Senior Living Centers. She grew to love those people and knew many of them by name.
Cindy is survived by her sweetheart Carl, her children Kevin (Mandy) Voisin, Julie (DJ) Malloy, Bradley (Rachael) Voisin, Kimberly Voisin, Randy Voisin and her grandchildren, Connor, Claire, Joshua, Hazel, Leah Lynn, Beau, Charlie and Quinn.
She is also survived by her mother Judy and her brothers and sisters Sherri (Darrell) Judkins, Scott (Melody) Jackman, Mark Jackman, Amy (Dan) Wager, David (Angie) Jackman. Cindy was preceded in death by her father LeGrand Jackman and her angel baby sister, Julie.
Our family wishes to express their gratitude to all the wonderful caregivers, doctors, and nurses, especially Michele at Country Life, who cared for her during this difficult time since her accident in 2014 when she fell and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Many family members, ward members and dear friends have supported our family in so many ways. We cannot begin to thank you enough for your love, prayers and friendship.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 575 East 800 North Orem on Saturday March 5, at 12 PM. Friends may visit with the family on Friday March 4, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the church with a viewing from 9:30-11:30 AM prior to the services.
