Conner Anthony
Franco
April 15, 2006 – April 26, 2026
Conner Anthony Franco, 20, passed away on April 26, 2026, following a car accident while traveling home from work.
Conner was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 15, 2006, to his loving parents, Tony and Melissa Franco. He was known for his intelligence, humor, dedication, and the immense love he poured into everything he touched. Conner always found a way to bring light to those around him and was unfailingly there to lift others up.
His intelligence is extraordinary. A dedicated student, Conner worked tirelessly through his years at Taylorsville High, eventually earning scholarships to study Law at the University of Utah. He distinguished himself as an outstanding student with big dreams to chase. Conner truly learned the art of dedication; in everything he did, he gave his absolute best. Whether it was tackling exams, competing in sports, or simply playing with his older and younger siblings, he always went "all in." Conner touched countless lives with his infectious humor, goofiness, and trademark sarcasm.
Conner is, and will always be, an athlete. He is willing to compete in any sport, but baseball holds a special place in his heart. He played from the moment he could first throw a ball, eventually playing for the Taylorsville Warriors, where he earned the "Most Outstanding Teammate" award. As he grew older, he fell in love with golf, spending much of his free time chasing tee times and even competing in the 2025 Little America Open. An avid gym enthusiast, he also discovered a passion for pickup basketball and joined a team within his college community.
Conner meant a lot to many people, and a few; he meant everything. He is a wonderful friend, teammate, nephew, grandson, and brother—and a beautiful son.
Conner’s legacy, spirit, and soul WILL live on. He will be found in every crack of a bat, every swing of a club, and the 'swish' of a basketball net. He is there in the clash of toy lightsabers, the building of Lego bricks, and the echo of every video game call-out. His spirit remains in every Raiders touchdown and every time the MUSS rises to sing 'A Utah Man Am I.' In every hug we share and every 'I love you' we speak—Conner is there.
Conner is survived by his parents, Tony and Melissa Franco; his siblings, Teven Franco, Aubrey Franco and Jadin McArdle; Grandparents, Alan and Malise Squires, and Nayibe Garcia; His loving Aunts, Uncles, and many cousins.
Conner is Predeceased by David and Lois Squires (Great Grandparents), Hazel Norr Johns (Great, Great Grandmother), Cassandra Squires (Aunt), and Ana Felisa Alfonso (Great Grandmother).
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: To lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:12-13
