Constance Marie Jenkins Jones Kubuske, 94, of Orem, Utah, previously of Elyria, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday night, April 2, 2020. Connie was born in Elyria, Ohio on May 1, 1925 to Caryl LeRoy Jenkins and Constance Mary Elizabeth Dean Jenkins. She lived in Elyria for 91 years before moving to Orem, Utah to be closer to family and because of ill health.
Connie attended Elyria high School and played the clarinet in the band. Following graduation Connie attended a secretarial college in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently worked as a court reporter and legal secretary in the city of Elyria. She retired in 2000. Connie loved to knit and do embroidery, play Bingo, watch game shows on tv, and travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband William M. Jones in 1963 and by her second husband Donald E. Kubuske in 1971. She did not have children of her own. Survivors include her brother, Donald LeRoy Jenkins (Jennie) of Orem, Utah; 5 nieces & nephews, 39 great-nieces & nephews, 37 great great-nieces & nephews. She loved them all.
Due to the current Coronavirus restrictions, no services are scheduled. Burial will be in future at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery on Lake Avenue in Elyria, Ohio.
