David Niels Cheney, 69 of Orem, passed away April 6, 2019.  He was born April 4, 1950 in Blackfoot, Idaho to James Enoch Cheney and Rose Sorensen Cheney Mackley. Both parents preceded him in death. David is survived by his wife Shirley, daughter Mandy Cheney, sons, Chris Cheney, John Cheney (Michelle) and grandchildren, James and Caroline Cheney. He is also survived by his brother James E. Cheney Jr. (Connie) and sister Marla Workman (Homer). He loved working on his classic 1946 Ford truck and fishing.
