Donald Charles Barnhouse, of Orem, Utah passed away on May 17, 2023. After a heart attack in September 2019 and subsequent dementia, his last 3 1/2 years were spent in the Bennion Veterans Home in Payson, Utah, where he received excellent care.

Donald was born on March 31, 1936, in Elko Nevada. His parents were Lynn Marshall Barnhouse and Jean Louise Langlois.

He married Gloria Jeanne Andersen on July 10, 1954. They have five children. Donald served in the United States Air Force for 28 years, including a year in Greenland and a year in Vietnam. He also served in the Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base for 15 years after retirement from the Air Force. He was proud to have served his country.

He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1954, and was strong in his faith till his passing.

Donald was preceded in death by a son, Scott Eric Barnhouse, and a grandson Brian Scott Barnhouse. He is survived by his wife Gloria, sons Gregory A. Barnhouse (Diana), Stephen D. Barnhouse (Judy), Stuart L. Barnhouse (Sherry), daughter Beckie S. Manning (Richard), 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
