Emma Louise Sundquist Brown

Jan 17 1933–April 5 2026

On Easter Sunday, our beloved mom, Emma Brown at the age of 93, passed away peacefully at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brown, her sisters: Theora, Rhea, Zella, Ellen, Linda, and her brother Floyd leaving behind her brother Lloyd and sisters Christina and Karen.

She had eight children : Jerry (Lizell), Rita (Ken), Doug (Carol), Steve (Amanda ), Lori (Stuart), Cheryl (Dave), Rich (Kim), and Brenda (Brad).

There are 30 grandchildren with 53 great grandkids.

Emma loved the gospel and was constantly reminding all of us the importance of living its principles.

Emma was blessed with a green thumb, constantly working in the yard and was very proud of the flowers and garden she cultivated.

She loved to play card games that sometimes became very competitive, always reminding us it was only a game.

She had her special ways to express her love to all , especially her family doing quiet acts of love.

She will be missed dearly yet we all know she is now surrounded with loved ones and reunited with her husband, Jack.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11am in the Orchard 2nd Ward, 670 East 800 North, Orem. Family and friends may visit that morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
