In 1954 she married Dr. Mark Day Miner and they raised a family in Long Beach, California. Following Mark's passing in 1992 Eva served as a temple ordinance worker in the Los Angeles Temple hoping to meet a worthy companion. Her dream came to fruition in 1994 when she married Dr. Stewart Bradford. Eva held leadership roles in many civic organizations. Eva directed the Long Beach International Festival and helped organize and run the Long Beach Regatta. In her youth Eva rode motor cycles and joined a riding club eventually becoming president. Later on Eva worked as a certified dental assistant, and office manager and taught post graduate courses in dental practice management. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eva served as Primary President, working with Southeast Asian refugee children. She excelled in her calling as California Regional Public Relations Director for the church. A full-time mission took Eva and Stewart to Tempe, Arizona.
