Martha Faye (Roland) Heimdal went to her Heavenly home to be with her parents, 7 siblings, and husband of 56 years on February 17, 2021. She was 80 years old. She was born on March 3, 1940 to Henry Pratt and Mary Belle (King) Roland. She grew up and attended school in and around the Macon, Georgia area. She moved to Utah to be sealed for eternity to Stuart Pallow Heimdal who was attending Brigham Young University. Provo was her home from 1961 until she entered Harmony Hills Assisted Living in Lehi, Utah. She loved serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Among her favorites was the Primary, Relief Society teacher, but most of all the Provo Utah Temple. She was generous beyond her means most times. She loved others and served many. She loved her family and her grandchildren so much. Family gatherings were her favorite, and she enjoyed music as she gave her children the opportunity to play the piano. When we were together music was always a part of our gathering or visit. She thought of others many times above her own needs. Art was a big part of her life, as her husband made it his career. She traveled with him to sell paintings and take pictures for future paintings. She loved flowers and took classes in flower arranging. She also loved doing family history and being at the temple. She often attended the temple with her grandchildren and made a day of it with them. Stuart and Faye welcomed 7 children, Lee (James) Tanner, Gille (Collin) Forbes, Quinn (Sharla) Heimdal, Julie (Darren) Wright, Stuart (Christina) Heimdal, Conan (Chrystine) Heimdal, Solveig Heimdal. 27 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings and one grandson. She will be missed by many, always loved, and well thought of!
