Felicia was born January 8, 1936, in Sacramento, CA to Deward and Phebe Holden. She grew up in Sacramento and attended schools there, eventually graduating from CK McClatchy High School. While in high school, Felicia was active in drama, playing numerous roles in school productions. After graduating, she enrolled at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she met Robert Loose whom she married in 1955. Bob and Felicia found great joy in raising their four children and spending time with their family. Whether playing games or sharing stories, Felicia was to be found at the center of it all. During her life she was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had numerous callings, serving as Relief Society president, Seminary and Institute teacher, Young Women teacher and presidency member, Primary teacher, Youth Sunday School teacher, and, most recently, as her branch's Gospel Doctrine teacher. Felicia enjoyed serving people in her various capacities, and she had a special love for the youth as well as for those people who might be struggling and need a friend. In her professional life, she worked for the Bell Telephone Company, Retail Sales at Liberty House, and as a model for the John Robert Powers Agency in Ft Worth, TX. She later sold cosmetics for Estee Lauder, working as a counter manager for Macy's in SeaTac, WA. Felicia is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Robert; her four children and their spouses, Deward (Marianne), Colleen Long (David), Alicia Hand, and Robert (Melissa); 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Delva Burke. Felicia loved animals of all kinds. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Nuzzles and Company at nuzzlesandco.org/donate/ or the ASPCA of Utah at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/ps-memory-sl-p1?ms=MP_PMK_GooglebrandMemorialSL-T4&initialms=MP_PMK_GooglebrandMemorialSL-T4&pcode=WEBM EMO.
