Gary P. Luther died peacefully in his sleep on September 7th, 2017 at the age of 72. He was at home surrounded by his family. Gary is survived by his wife, Annis, his three children Tasha Lawson, Tiffany McCloud, and Trever Luther along with 4 grandsons. He is also survived by his older brother Gene Luther, his older sister Carol Trimble and his younger brother Mike Luther, along with various nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born in Kearney, Nebraska on September 21, 1944. He served in the US Navy from 1965 - 1969 during which time he completed 3 different tours in Vietnam. He married the love of his life, Annis Wood, on October 2, 1971. He worked for the telephone company for 34 years before retiring. Gary also joined the Army National Guard in 1981 and retired in 2000. A memorial service has been scheduled for 5pm on Thursday, September 14th at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home in Orem, Utah. The family will be hosting a reception at the Luther home following the service. The address is 1760 N. 680 W, Orem, UT. Everyone is welcome to attend to celebrate Gary's life.
