Glen Ray Peart, our beloved father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 71 of Orem, died April 4, 2018, of an extended illness at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. Glen was born October 12, 1946 in Provo, Utah, to Glenn Joseph Peart and Rita Carter.  Glen received an LDS seminary scholarship to Brigham Young University but was drafted and served his county in the United States Air Force.  Upon completion of service he married Carol Ann Marrott, Glen and Carol had one son Monty Glen Peart.  They later divorced. Glen worked at the Utah State Developmental Center for 35 years as a boiler mechanic.  He enjoyed thirteen years of retirement.  Glen enjoyed the Moab Jeep Safari for 24 years, fishing, hunting and coaching kids in all sports especially his grand kids. He is survived by his son, Monty Glen (Alisha Peart), sister Marsha Birch of Concord, North Carolina, Sister-in-Law, Tracy Peart of Pleasant Grove, Utah.  Step siblings Sandra & Roy Batty of Spanish Fork, Utah, Jeff & Valynne Spencer of American Fork, Utah, Marlin & Jill Spencer of Australia.  Grandchildren Colton Stetson & Kylie Peart, Shelbie N. Peart, Breeann A. Peart, one great-granddaughter, Bexley B. Peart and another great-granddaughter on the way. He was proceeded in death by his parents Glenn and Rita Peart, his brother Steven Sean Peart, and brother-in-law Bruce Birch, step-sister Paulette Howard.
