Glenda E. Brereton Frixione of Payson UT. passed away peacefully surrounded with family by her side after her battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Glenda was born and raised in Payson, UT. She graduated from Payson high in 1962. After graduating she spent one summer working at Zions National park before graduating from beauty school. She worked as a beautician in downtown Salt lake City.
Glenda married the love of her life Amadeo O. Frixione (Frix) in 1964 and raised two children : Anthony A. Frixione, and Andrea E. Frixione Caussey . Glenda loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren: Shantell, Anthony, Dillon, Andrew, Aaron and Tyler.
They built their forever home in Payson, UT. And then purchased and successfully ran the Polar Queen Drive-In restaurant in Payson from 1979-2005. Glenda loved spending time in nature and in the year 2000 purchased a property on the mountainside in Fairview UT. They spent the next three summers building a beautiful log cabin where she loved spending most of her free time.
Glenda's light shined bright to all who had the pleasure to know her and will always be missed and remembered as the most amazing wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an excellent cook and loved hosting many gatherings with all family and friends, sharing and listening to the many stories.
She is preceded in death by her husband Amadeo O. Frixione and parents Verl (Joe) Brereton, and Grace Darlene Hirst,. Brothers : Wayne, Jim, and Jack Brereton.
Sisters: Colleen Thomas, Carol Sue Peterson, and son in law Mike A. Caussey.
She is survived by her sisters : Nedra Wignall, DeAnn Durrant, Marsha Lassen, Marilyn Ross and brother Steven Crippen.
