IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Greta Eve
Tate
July 6, 2016 – May 16, 2023
Our beautiful Greta Eve was peacefully called home to her Heavenly Father after a brave and valiant journey with cancer on Tuesday, May 16th, surrounded by those who loved her most. For eight months we watched her fight cancer with determination and patience. We marveled at her strength, kindness, and spunkiness in her ability to overcome unthinkable odds. She was always quick to give you a thumbs up and pinch to reassure you of her resilience and love. Her journey has been so incredibly heartbreaking and yet so beautiful all at once. We witnessed numerous miracles of profound greatness.
Greta Eve was welcomed into the world on July 6, 2016 along with her twin brother, Golden Jimi. Sometimes miracles come in pairs, Golden and Greta were just that. Someone once said, "A twin doesn't go through life searching for their other half, they are born with it." Golden and Greta were truly one another's half.
Greta found her greatest joy in dancing, cheering, you-tubing, and performing for her parents and sisters, and of course the camera. She loved watching her sisters perform and couldn't wait to join them. She also loved sleepovers with her aunties and cousins, family dinners and annual family reunions. She did cartwheels, obsessed with Moana, loved her adventures to Disneyland with family, California with Grandma Kepford, fell in love with the Polynesian culture and the island of Hawaii, she loved playing with friends, lemonade stands, tumbling with her mom at the park, and loved her dance classes.
Greta loved her family deeply. She is loved, cherished and adored by her parents, Jamis and Dawn. Sisters, Ella, Nora, Lola and her brother, Golden. As well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. How blessed we were to be part of her life.
We would like to thank all those dedicated nurses and doctors on Unit 2 and Unit 4 of Primary Children's Hospital. Each of you served Greta beyond what your duties included. You were designed perfectly for her as she was for you. We are so blessed to know you.
A celebration of Greta's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Property of 1014 N. 1280 E. in Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North Orem, Utah.
