The family of Hal Andrew Mitchell would like to announce his sudden and unexpected death on Saturday, April 20th at his home in Willamina, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Julie Kay, 8 children: Hal Douglas (Shauna), Benjamin Wade (Dawn), Jacob Lester (Karlie), Matthew Lynn (Taylor), James Hugh (Jordan), Patrick Andrew (Kelsey), Halie Kay, and Elizabeth Ann, 18 grandchildren (9 granddaughters and 9 grandsons), his mother Patricia Ann Mitchell-Arnold, and 6 siblings: Scott (Kathy), Mark (Catherine), Beth (Jeff), Mary (Tony), Jim (Deena), and Hugh (Theresa), and many beloved sisters and brother in-laws. He is predeceased in death by his father Hal, granddaughter Olivia, nephew Scottie, and father in-law Lester Please come celebrate the life of our beloved husband, father, son, and brother by gathering at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1120 E 600 N Orem, UT for a viewing held for family and friends on Saturday April 27th, 2019 at 1pm followed by a family prayer at 1:45pm. A memorial service will begin in the church chapel at 2pm followed by a dedication of the grave at the Orem City Cemetery, at 1520 N 800 E Orem, UT. A reception will then be held back at the church at the conclusion of the dedication of the grave. Military Honors to be performed by American Legion Post 72.
