IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Howard Leroy
Webb
September 10, 1931 – September 26, 2024
Howard LeRoy Webb left his Earthly home that he built with his sweetheart of 71 years,
Katheryn Blanche, on September 26, 2024. The home he constructed here on Earth was the
capstone of a man who built his way out of poverty, built freedom for people in Korea, and built
many homes in Utah County that display his unique brand of craftsmanship. Howard created a
better and more beautiful world than he was born into.
Howard was born on September 10, 1931 to Howard Lars and Dorotha (Underwood) Webb, in
Mammoth, Utah. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School and LDS Seminary in 1949. He
was a veteran of the Korean War and received the Bronze Star with Valor. He married Katheryn
Blanche Hales on January 5, 1953. After the war, Howard attended and graduated from Utah
Technical College in Provo, Utah, with an emphasis in carpentry. He worked for Westco
Cabinets and then branched out on his own, starting Webb's Custom Cabinets. He was a
faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Katheryn served as
missionaries at the Lindon Cannery in 2004-2005.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, Jean and Roseanne, his
son-in-law Brent Clark, and his grandson Brandon Clark. He is survived by his wife Katheryn,
his children Sheila Clark, Robert Webb (Robbie), Michael Webb (Karen), Christopher (Natalie),
20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Walker
Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, in Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the
services at the funeral home, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment services will be held at the
Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah following the funeral.
Howard was loved by his family for his quick wit, his talent for craftsmanship, and his lasting
legacy of hard work and honest living.
