Obituary

Hunter Enoch Robey 9 July 1997 – 12 June 2020 The world was a better place with Hunter Enoch Robey in it. He blessed the lives of his family, friends and coworkers with his easy smile and easy to love manner. Always quick to help, kind, open and accepting, many of us depended on his strength, for work and for adventure. That spark, his contagious sense of adventure, while resulting in trouble on occasion, expanded our own sense of what was possible and our love for the things that brought us together. He was an avid skier and rock climber who enjoyed Utah's many other mountain and desert possibilities. Gone far too soon, we'll always feel the absence of what he added to our lives. He is fiercely loyal, forgiving and fearless – a beautiful soul. Before becoming an English major at Utah Valley University, he was already well read and eagerly absorbed all genres of classics and modern literature. His open mind was further expanded by university, and without ego, he was always happy to inspire with his original thinking. Long chores and long drives were better by his presence. He is survived by parents, brothers, sisters and nephew, as well as dear friends. We will all mourn his loss as we celebrate his life and love in retrospect. Hunter's gift of empathy blessed the lives of all who knew him. Especially with his mama, he often knew what we needed before we did. Life won't be as much fun without him. As we miss and think of you often Hunter, through the years, we know that now you are on another adventure with more possibility for love and inspiration than we can know. Go with all our love, until we meet again. A celebration of Hunter's life and open house will be held at his family home in Provo on Thursday June 18th from 7 – 9pm. Please DM for the address if necessary.
