Catherine Ilene Jenkins Creviston was born February 27, 1942 in American Fork, Utah.  She passed away on August 26, 2018 at her home from natural causes, surrounded by her family.  She attended school in Orem, Utah and graduated from Orem High School.  She married Fred Creviston on April 9, 1965.  She was a hard worker all of her life.  She worked as a lunch lady for Provo School District and at various positions for Barbizon, Signetics, Muir Roberts Cannery and Modus Media where she made many friends.              Family was important to Ilene and she cherished time spent gathering her family together for Bar-B-Ques in the summer.  She always had an open door and an empty seat at the table.  She used to say that she would add water to her soup to make it stretch to feed surprise guests if that is what she needed to do.  She made everyone feel welcome in her home.  She had a wicked sense of humor and was teasing her doctors and nurses even up to her final days.             She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Creviston, a daughter, Kristy Creviston, her parents, David and Adra Jenkins, two brothers, Ivan and Lyle Jenkins and one sister, Vada Riding.  She is survived by her children Shauna (Lance) McKenna of Orem, Utah, Charlene (Kevin) Kelson of Lafayette, Oregon, Brian (Kelly) Creviston of Provo, Utah and Richard (Jenny) Creviston of Payson, Utah.  She is survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and her sister Doris Walker of Arizona.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family who can come to call at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem,Thursday, August 30 th from 7-9 p.m.  There will also be a short viewing at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home on Friday August 31 st from 9:45-10:45 a.m.  Her funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.  She will be interred at Orem City Cemetery with her husband and daughter.
