Jaren Reed Fisher, born on March 16, 1979, in El Paso, Texas, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 45. He was the beloved son of Garth H Fisher and Susan Marcella Anderson and the second of five children. His siblings, Ryan Fisher, Kristy Andersen, Jennifer Brown, and Sarah Simons, will forever cherish his memory.
Jaren graduated from American Fork High School in 1997 and went on to study graphic design at Utah State University. His artistic talents and technical skills were evident in his work as a graphic designer. Additionally, he had interests in welding and HVAC, showcasing his keen eye for detail and his ability to bring creative visions to life. An outdoor enthusiast, Jaren enjoyed hiking and snowshoeing with his sisters. He was also an avid Lego builder, finding joy in creating intricate and imaginative structures. His friendly smile, sense of humor, and ability to open up when comfortable endeared him to many.
Jaren was a good uncle to his nieces and nephews, bringing joy into their lives and creating lasting memories. Throughout his life, Jaren traveled extensively, living in Texas, Utah, California, and Alaska. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina. He worked as a tour guide bus driver for Holland America Princess Alaska Tours and as a transportation driver for Beaver Creek Village in Avon, Colorado. His bilingual skills in English and Spanish allowed him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
The memorial service for Jaren will be held on April 25, 2025 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 6:00 pm at Mapleton Cemetery in Mapleton, Utah. In lieu of flowers, Lego botanicals may be donated to the service to honor his love for building and creativity.
The memory of Jaren Reed Fisher will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, humor, and creativity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
