IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Daniel
Cahua
October 2, 1978 – November 20, 2024
Jason Daniel Cahua, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Eagle Mountain, Utah, at the tender age of 46. Born on October 2, 1978, in Burlingame, California, Jason lived a life full of quiet strength and genuine kindness.
From an early age, Jason displayed an incredible intellectual prowess, a trait he carried with him throughout his life and various pursuits. He was a focused student, graduating with high honors and achieving both a bachelor's of science and accounting and master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Known for maintaining a straight-A record, he valued education and saw it as a way to not only improve himself but also to better serve others. His love for sports in his youth showed us all another side of his character, one that appreciated teamwork and dedication.
Though quiet and shy in demeanor, Jason's heart spoke volumes through his actions. He was a gentle soul, caring deeply for those around him. Jason led by example, embodying true selflessness and boundless love. He listened more than he spoke, and his silent wisdom always seemed to offer just the right solution or comfort.
Jason's love leaves an indelible mark on his family and friends, who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his parents Daniel and Jaqueline Cahua. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers Joshua, James, and Danny Cahua; his sisters Danielle McDonald and Dasha (Oscar) Perez ; and his nieces and nephews Evan, Cadence, Jovan, Carter, and Natalie and a multitude of family and friends. His mother, Luz Delia Leon, predeceases him, and he joins her now in heaven.
A celebration of Jason's life will take place on November 26, 2024, beginning with a funeral service at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home at 1 pm, followed by his interment at Orem City Cemetery at 2 pm.
In the quiet moments of reflection, his siblings and loved ones will hold close the words:
My Dear Brother, now that you are gone
You're no longer here to share,
The bond we had together-
A bond of love and care.
Yet, somehow something tells me
You are watching over me-
Now that from Worldly cares
You finally are free.
I miss you so very much,
And my tears I cannot hide
Yet, within my heart, I feel
You are always by my side.
Ever since you went away
Life has never been the same
Yet, it comforts me to know
That one day we'll meet again.
Jason, you are dearly missed, and your spirit lives on in our hearts.
