Obituary

Jeanne Françoise Antonorsi Rutishauser (1928 - 2021) Jeanne F. Antonorsi Rutishauser returned to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 28th. 2021. She was born in Marseille, France, of goodly parents: Laurent Emmanuel Antonorsi and Marie Agostini. She was fortunate to have a happy home and three loving sisters: Louisette, Mireille, and Huguette. Jeanne was raised in France, taught to honor her name, and remained very proud of her Corsican heritage. In her teen years, she survived WW II and four years of German occupation. Then she met the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and made the decision at nineteen years old to be baptized in the Mediterranean Sea in December! She came alone to America (literally "Tempest Tossed"), to Utah in 1952. She moved to California where she met her best friend, the love of her life, Rudy Rutishauser. They were married in the Los Angeles Temple on Bastille Day and spent forty-seven years of joy together. She served in many callings in the church, but the greatest calling in the world was going as a full- time missionary with her husband to the Swiss Temple. Jeanne counted her greatest blessings to be her husband, Rudy, her two children Natalie Ann and Eric Grant, and her precious grandson Nathan. She has also been richly blessed by having kindhearted angel-friends, devoted to her for many years: Susan and Douglas Larson, Lynn Tromley, Debbie Peterson, Cathy Robinson, the Andelin family, Scott Johnson, Ben Donovan, Dan Bowers, and many other friends, as well as Evangeline (Sissy) Williams and other caregivers. Jeanne is survived by her beloved son, Eric, and grandson, Nathan - both the pride of her heart. Also, her younger sister, Huguette Cavillon and three nieces and nephews who reside in France. Her daughter Natalie and her husband Rudy preceded her in death. She will be interred at the Orem City Cemetery at a graveside service for family and invited friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who have supported and befriended their mother over many years. Condolences may be offered to the family online at www.walkersanderson.com.
