Gehringer
May 22, 1948 – October 12, 2022
Jeneanne B. Gehringer, age 74 of Spanish Fork, passed away October 12, 2022, with loved ones by her side.
Jeneanne was born May 22, 1948, in Spanish Fork, UT to Merrill Dean Binks and Annie Rowe Beck Binks. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School, Class of 1966. She married Leon K. Davis in 1966 and had two wonderful sons. October 19, 2000 she married Kenneth Gehringer, the love of her life.
After graduating from high school, Jeneanne attended Utah Technical College. She was always a very hard worker whatever the task. She worked many years as a seamstress at Utah Sportswear in Spanish Fork, spent several years working at Geneva Steel Plant, and worked road construction when the Thistle dam broke in 1983. She then worked for the State of Utah in the Family Services Division for 17 years until she retired.
She cherished her grandchildren, and the time she spent with them was full of love and laughter. She loved all the different seasons, but Christmas was her favorite time of year.
She loved her pets, crafting, making floral arrangements, painting ceramics, gardening and crocheting blankets. She enjoyed old movies, westerns, and long drives around West Mountain, the lake and through the River Bottoms. One of her favorite things was when the neighborhood kids would come to visit her, and they loved to go see her.
Jeneanne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Gehringer, her parents, and her sister Carol Ann Spiers.
Jeneanne is survived by her children, Brett (Becky) Davis and Jared (Holly) Davis, her grandchildren, Calle & McCade and Bailey & Courtney and her siblings, Merrill (JoAnn Binks, Beverly (Shirl) Shepherd, Rowene (Billy) Vest, Mary Swenson, Richard (Tammy) Binks and Mark (DeeAnn) Binks.
She had a heart of gold and will be remembered always for the love and kindness she showed to all family and friends.
