Joel passed away May 6, 2019 after a difficult battle with cancer at age 58. He was welcomed into this life January 4, 1961 by his loving parents Byron Gail and Barbara (Kirk) Anderson. Joel attended schools in Orem and graduated from Orem High in 1979. He faithfully served in the Anaheim, California mission. He married his sweetheart Cindy Jensen in the Jordan River Temple. They raised two beautiful girls. Joel loved to dutch oven cook, making things using para-cord and loved using his insta-pot to make yummy food for his family. Joel loved to talk to people and made friends easily. He left an empty spot in many peoples hearts, he loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his family was his greatest joy. He was preceded in death by his father Byron Gail Anderson, brother Bryce Byron Anderson and sister Amy Jo Anderson. He is survived by his wife Cindy and daughters, Kaitlyn (Alex) Jones and Kristi Anderson, his mother Barbara Anderson and a brother Kirk Anderson. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 14, 2019, 11:00 a.m., Geneva Heights 6th Ward, 590 North 900 West, Orem. Family and friends may visit Monday, May 13, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at  Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and Tuesday prior to services at the church from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Condolences may be offered and memories shared online at www.walkersanderson.com .
