It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Keith Carter, born in Provo, UT on October 29, 1977, to Robert Keith Carter and Geri Davis Carter. Josh tragically lost his life on September 27, 2024 in an ATV accident while enjoying his passion for hunting.
Josh is survived by Sam Carter (significant other of 14 years); his children, Chase Carter and Josie Knorr; his parents, Bob and Geri Carter; his sisters, Rachelle (Kevin) Rieske, Erika (Destry) Cobbley, Cami (Larry) Adamson, and Carly Carter; 1 grandchild; and 15 nieces and nephews along with countless friends who were fortunate enough to share in his life's journey. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Being an avid outdoorsman, Josh found joy in hunting, camping, boating and fishing. Whether it was a day spent in the woods or on the water, he embraced every adventure with enthusiasm. His love for softball and golf brought friends and family together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Josh was a talented electrician and business owner whose work was marked by a dedication to helping those around him. He approached every project with a commitment to excellence, and his generosity extended beyond his trade. He was always there to lend a hand, embodying the spirit of charity and community.
As a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend, Josh's absence will be profoundly felt by his family and many friends. He was always ready with a smile and a word of encouragement. His adventurous spirit and zest for life inspired those who knew him.
A celebration of Josh's life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11 am at the church on 670 E 800 N, Orem, UT where family and friends can come together to honor his memory and the impact he made on all of our lives. There will be a viewing the evening prior on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 6-8 pm at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home at 646 E 800 N Orem as well as a viewing at the church prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am.
