Joshua Kent Ivie was born on August 12, 1984, the son of Kent and Jane Ivie. He was born with a very caring heart, and never lost that gift. He adored the challenge of a video game and would often play it until he had won. He was a graduate of Springville High School, and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from Westminster College in 2007. He was then employed in 2008 in the Clerk Auditor's office at Utah County Government, and made many friends there. He continued to work for the County until 2019. Survivors include his mother, Jane Ivie; his sister, Jennifer (Jason) Gladden; his nieces Erin (Carson) Cullimore, and Myah Clements; his Grandparents, Dorothy and Dean Ivie. He also had many caring aunts and uncles. Joshua was an intelligent, fun and loving soul. Joshua was loved by many people, and has left a hole in our hearts; he will be forever loved and missed. It was Joshua's wishes to be cremated and have his ashes scattered; we will plan a celebration of his life at a future date.
