After a hard fought twelve year battle with breast cancer, Joy Sturman Bunker, peacefully passed away on February 21, 2018 while surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Kenyon C Bunker and their 5 children, Michelle (Dana) Hopkinson, Lehi, Martin Shane (Tracy) Bunker, Spanish Fork, Brandon (Annette) Bunker, American Fork, Casey (Todd) Stoker, Payson, and Devon (Corrina) Bunker, Orem. Her 3 sisters Hope (Jim) Campbell, San Jose, CA, Diana (Johnny) Bleggi, Mapleton, and Robin (Tom) King, Riverton. She was an awesome "Grandma Joy" to 18 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. And we can't forget her sweet dog Bryce. She loved her family with all her heart and we always felt her love. She planned and threw the best parties for every occasion. She loved to play cards, she was a fierce competitor. She made the best peanut butter bars, if you never tasted one you missed out. She loved visiting Bryce Canyon, it was her favorite place. She was a kind, giving, caring, beautiful woman with a great sense of humor. She will be missed by many. A Celebration of Joy's Life will be held on Saturday February 24th, 2018, 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 pm at Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East. Joy requested that in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to your favorite charity, or buy yourself a plant, bush or tree to remember her by.
